mBank in English

mBank – retail banking of BRE Bank SA, member of the Commerzbank group.

mBank joined the Czech market in November 2007. In the first stage, the product and service offerings include personal and saving accounts and payment cards, further on mortgages and consumer loans and credit cards; investment products and other services will arrive in 2009. Financial advisory services are a matter of course.

mBank steps in the Czech market with a choice of services the Czech banking market has not known so far:

• mKONTO: a personal account with virtually no charges for the administration and wire transfers
• eMAX: saving account with a card and a possibility to withdraw anytime
• eMAX+: saving account with very high interest and no strict period
• mHYPOTEKA: a revolutionary solution – a variable interest-rate mortgage with an option to settle the balance anytime free of charge
• mPŮJČKA: fast cash loan, up to 60.000 CZK, could be repaid sanctionless. (EU citizens only)
• mKREDITKY: no fees, 54 days grace period, different versions for both creditors and transactors. (EU citizens only)

We are going to work on the issue of the web site and Internet banking in English in 2009. However, we believe that opening an account will pay off for the foreigners in Czech Republic anyway. Why?

We are a bank working in a style usual in Western Europe: we do not live on banking fees. The account administration, incoming and outgoing payments via internet are free and so is the Visa Classic payment card. We offer a competitive saving account (with a card as well), and all this without a minimum account turnover, without the necessity of regular payments, without any bottom notes and special exemptions. We are also preparing budget international transfers and investment products. In addition: as a special bonus – free withdrawals from cash-points abroad.

NEW: We don't require "Rodné číslo" anymore - foriegners can apply for our services with just a passport and CZ Residency Declaration.
